Hi, I don't want to offend you, or be rude, cause your drawings are one of the best part of "Di Hard - Year One", but in this comic book McClane looks quite fat. He could be a lil bit thinner, he is still young man, who didn't eat a lot of donuts in his life.
Well the second story arc actually deals with McClane's struggle with overeating, so by the end of issue 8 he'll be the trim character we know from the first movie.
I think to qualify as a cop in New York you need to go through a rigorous donut-eating test period, so he's probably still trying to shake that weight.
