Panel inks
Here's the inks for that panel I posted pencils of a while back. I meant to put this up sooner but the Dublin con and it's aftermath kind of threw me off course. Still can't give out any details on this new project for IDW but it's a pleasant change of pace for me. I'm trying to keep the inking loose and spontaneous on this project, I've been looking at a lot of J.P. Leon in particular. This is mainly inked with a Pentel brushpen and Staedtler pigment liners.

JP Leon? Never heard of him. Although, if i did, i would probably LOVE his work.

I'd bet he'd love your work too Declan. If he'd heard of you. Which he hasn't. That's one comic pro who has yet to fall under your wiley charms.
Nice work, I like the spontanaety that the brushpen affords, definitely gives it that little bit more vibrancy ala your con sketches, which are my favourite Thompson works.
Note to self: buy brushpens.
